Is FEMA really there to help the ones who are in need or are they there to help only certain people. Our home was flooded unexpectedly and the investigator tgat came out was from another state and seemed as though he really didnt want to do his job.

I understand that there are times when peopke from another state have to help, but if they're from a high class neighborhood or if they were born with a silver spoon in their mouth, they wont understand a persin who struggles to make ends meet. Now mind you, not only was our home flooded but our vehicle to work was too. Its been over two months now and FEMA sent "our final notice" that stated "when FEMA inspected our home it was determined that the disaster had not caused our home to be unsafe to live in.

This determination was based solely on the damage to our hom that is related to this disaster." Now here is a video that aas taken just days before we left our home due to the water taking it over. Our floors are falling in and walls are molded, but by their standards and their determinations, "its safe to live in."

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Location: Ponchatoula, Louisiana
